Trust and obey

(c) words: Rev. John Henry Sammis
Proverbs 16:20

When we walk with the Lord
In the light of his word
What a glory he sheds on our way
While we do his good will
He abides with us still
And with all who will trust and obey

Chorus

Trust and obey
For there's no other way
To be joyful in Jesus
Than to trust and obey
Trust and obey
For there's no other way
To be joyful in Jesus
Than trust and obey

Not a burden we bear
Not a sorrow we share
But our toil he does richly repay
Not a grief nor a loss
Not a frown nor a cross
But is blest if we trust and obey

Chorus
But we never can prove
The delights of his love
Until all on the altar we lay
For the favours he shows
And the joy he bestows
Are for them who will trust and obey

Chorus

Then in fellowship sweet
We will sit at his feet
We'll walk by his side in the way
What he says we will do
Where he sends we will go
Never fear, only trust and obey

The first month in 2006.

Just came back from field work in Rumbai, Pekan Baru. This was just to continue the audit workfrom mid year which is to perform SoX update testing for Caltex, oil mining company. The visit this time was quite enjoyable although felt a bit hard in the beginning. It was due to I need to perform extra work which left behind by a resigned collegue. The client considerably cooperative hence we could finish the work a little bit quicker than the schedule. Besides we have more time to enjoy the facilities surrounding the camp site such as bowling, swimming pool, sate padang and went around Pekan Baru town looking for durian, the favourite fruit hehe.. As a result I gained one kg weight. O my.. need to control my appetite.. :P

Currently, have been assigned to Petrochina, to perform final review. This is a very tough client. Just hope the conflicts can be resolved quickly. Will have a tough meeting today..

Have been registered for CISA exam on 10 June. Just tried to start the study but it is really hard though. Because most of my time spent on work, so need to study over time.. I hope my preparation is sufficient for me to pass the exam. Trust the Lord, He will never let us down.

A New year.

Unaware that I have passed one year in Jakarta. During this year I have gone through many things, bad and good, struggles and excitements. These events have taught me a lot and gave me more understanding about how to live my life. Just want to thank's God about that. Although all of them were very hard at the beginning, finally the outcome never disappointed me.

Like at the first time, I was struggling looking for job and by the time God gave the best to me. Although at the beginning I was a bit dissapointed because I had to start from the initial level. However, after a few month I was promoted. Maybe I don't need to re-tell them one by one because it will not be counted. I amazed with God's "expertise" in making a plan (Rome 8:28). I realised that the struggle will continue as long as we still alive.
